No, snipers are still badass. Its just that when we used to talk about snipers, it was Finnish hunters killing Soviet troops for being assholes, not this douchebag killing civilians for defending their tribe.

Many Americans have a very unhealthy hero worship of anyone in a uniform. But that does cause some problems, especially for conservatives. They worship the police and military, but they are the first to complain the U.S. is turning into a police state.
