well, I changed my mind on EQN. I'm done with SOE and their constant bullshit. They will ruin EQN - nothing has changed over there. I figure its going to be extreme microtransactions for everything. The H1Z1 fiasco pretty much showed how treacherous they are. They've also done some really stupid shit with EQ recently and lied about it as well. Such as promising a huge expansion next (which didn't happen), then nerfing other content and trying to force everyone into the new content. The problem with the new content was it wasn't fun nor did it have much payoff and the EXP was terrible. Instead of fixing these things, they decided to nerf pretty much everything else OTHER than the new expansion to try and drive sales. Pretty f**k lame tactic and the customer base was not happy.

Long story short, SOE sucks ass and will ruin whatever might make EQN good.

Only game I've really been spending any time on is Path of Exile when I have a chance. And sometimes Everquest if I really get the MMO itch, though that is rare these days.

destiny looks like a really boring game. their ambition far outpaced the abilities of consoles.

when reading about destiny on its first announcement they certainly seemed to want to do a lot more with it. much larger maps, much broader scope of what you can do in the game. then what was released is really scaled back. i mean isn't most of it just instances? that's not very exciting for an open world sandbox game. i'd chalk it up to the whole "we need to push DLC" mindset but there is already DLC in the game (viewable, but not playable) that enterprising young scriptkiddies have found and it's just more of the same. more instances, more gear. it reminds me a lot of brink. devs overhyped the shit out of how open-world and sandboxy it was going to be and in reality it was highly limited because ambition outpaced ability,

All I've heard is that its going to stream from Xbox to PC, and maybe the other way too. But aside from Fable I've not seen MS willing to put their Xbox exclusives on PC. Wouldn't be fun for the console Destiny players to get utterly thrashed by everyone with a mouse/keyboard.
