GTA Online has a great leveling system. You can easily compete with a person at rank 100, but if you are equally skilled as them, they'll have a slight advantage. It's enough to make you want to level up yourself, but not enough to turn a decent player into a great player.

The primary advantage to being higher level is being able to earn access to harder and more profitable jobs. You also earn access to more cars, car mods, weapons, clothes, etc. The only time you'll have a real disadvantage at lower levels is if you are doing a race and some dude has a fully modded car. You'll have access to the same cars but not modded. But if you're good it won't matter.

OS X Mavericks and Yosemite have both been free to everyone. The least Microsoft can do is match this.

well mac is in the business of selling hardware mostly, while microsoft is mostly trying to sell software. it's a lot harder to make a hackintosh than put windows on a mac (mac os has hardware requirements than windows does not). you certianly can't get it from macintosh unless you are on a mac to begin with. mac also generally wants everyone on the same version as that has benefits itself

I've found that OSX is really great on a laptop. Apple makes such terrific keyboard and touchpads that the gestures work so well you don't miss a mouse. As long as you aren't doing anything serious.

On a desktop though, OSX just irritates the hell out me...mostly because it doesn't do the tricks with the mouse the way I'd like, and there's no way to configure it to do so.
