Er, I thought the whole point of a gov't is to kinda tell people what to do or at least what NOT to do but hey call me a socialist...

Menson, what are your thoughts about letting anyone have a gun under the condition they complete a course on responsible use and safety first? I believe you are among the people who say all the bad statistics that come with gun ownership are accounted for by the irresponsible owners. We can see that the irresponsible owners put not only themselves but also others in danger when they have a gun. You may have a point that your own liberties should not be restricted, but should people have the right to put others in danger by owning/carrying a deadly weapon that they don't know how to use responsibly?

Now that I've already got mine, add all the restrictions, fees and hoops to gun ownership that you want. I carry both open and concealed. I don't plan to change that.
