Also, do you realize that about half the forum (while not calling for a ban) has gone beyond the point of aggressive debate and outright insulted Southern Dad in some form since he got here a matter of weeks ago? Every time we have a thread about this place's future, everyone talks about how we need more people, but then whenever a new person shows up we expect them to automatically be perfectly assimilated to our forum's culture on day 1 or else they get barraged with insults and/or calls for their banning. I'm starting to think we can't ever grow this place because diversity of any type is not just challenged but outright scorned and insulted.

It's not just using multi-colored font. I was simply talking about the clear misuse of the font, and that misusing a forum feature shouldn't mean that we disable the feature for everybody.

At this point the use of the fonts and colors has proved so distracting that multiple people have complained about not being able to read the posts. The fact that it's a common thing, and the mods even suggest putting the user on ignore just further demonstrates this.

If growing the forum meant wanting to tear my eyes out, I would rather not really post here.

Yep. You need to rip your eyes out of their sockets to avoid seeing a post in 3 different colors. It's clearly the way to go. Not having eyes will suck, but at least you didn't have to read things in red or blue, the horrors!

I was being hyperbolic. But it's clearly a problem dude. That guy has been suspended for not stopping doing dumb shit like 3 times already. I think I've been suspended once or twice max and I've been here a lot longer.

It's not worth growing the community if we have to tolerate people like that. Quality > quantity all day. If you want to mess around in forums where people do that shit, go somewhere else.
