With measles being a disease that can be fatal, I went with the vaccination for my daughter. I know a person who for religious reasons refused to allow his son to be treated for spinal meningitis. His pastor and prayer group all came and laid hands on the boy. By the time the hospital got the court order to begin treatment, it was too late.

Unless the decision to not vaccinate becomes far more common, it is a non-issue. You don't need one-hundred percent compliance to achieve herd immunity.

or it could be new because we don't have one currently.
plus, even with herd immunity people people who can't take vaccines because of medical reasons are at risk.the tyranny of a 5 minute trip to the doctors office is worth saving the lives of children who can't get vaccinated for real reasons.
