I'm pretty sure that soaking up negative attention from the USAF is something these guys plan on from the beginning. It's become the usual cost of doing business in the region.
These guys are just bonkers though. They aren't following the usual 4G warfare MO at all...they seem perfectly happy being seen as monsters and provoking the hatred of literally everyone on the planet.
Their actions don't work towards survivability. It's weird, self destructive behavior.
