Please keep in mind that it isn't the job of the federal government to build all of our roads and bridges. The federal government is only responsible for the Interstates and US Highways. The states are responsible for the State Highways and localities are responsible for the local roads. So if Mississippi has terrible roads, then MS needs to adjust its taxes accordingly. (County and state route signs are different in each state.)

georgia has some shit roads too, but the interstate is fine (and massive). in MS the interstate is shit. and i think it's that the feds allocate funding for, not that the feds are responsible for it. the state still is the one handling everything, they just get money so long as they set the drinking age to 21 and bac to 0.08

Don't know about you guys, but if I was president I would launch the largest infrastructure and public works expansion in US history.
