i was weird when i was young. i watched a lot of cooking shows on PBS and documentaries on TLC. and lots and lots of jurassic park. i liked a few animated movies (land before time, 101 dalmations) but i didn't really begin to appreciate disney movies until i got older.

Huh, I never saw 101 dalmations. Aladdin is by far my favorite (lol Disney orientalism)

As a kid I enjoyed Meet the Press for some reason (the theme music was just so magnificent, also more it reminded me of time with family on Sunday). Don't think I could handle cooking shows though, would just make me hungry.

Thank God they've at least made them entertaining with Chopped and Top Chef.

My Plex server has all the kid's movies on it. They were the first thing that I loaded on it. I've got all 14 Pixar movies on there plus all the Disney Princess movies. Cars, Toy Story, Up... Frozen, Brave, Tangled... Trust me, I've seen all the kid's movies. Wall-E was a strange one but had an interesting storyline to it. How we ruined this planet and had to live in space. As machines did more for us, we became fatter and fatter... The Lorax was another one where we basically destroy the planet.

I love the adult references in some movies, that kid's won't get but we parents see. The Shrek movies are full of them, but my favorite movie that the kid's watch a lot is Happily N'ever After.

a wise decision. my sisters kids are also straddled so the niece is just getting out of it and the nephew is just getting in to it. it's horrible.
