American owned though, is the key point there. Many cars sold here in the US from foreign automakers are pretty American in terms of actually being built here and parts sourcing.
I think right now for American-owned companies Ford and Tesla are my picks.
But if I were going to buy a luxury suv I think I'd get something else. No point in getting a "luxury" vehicle if it's not perceived that way. Nobody is like "oh wow that person has money and a nice vehicle" when they see somebody driving an escalade lol.

They will be, but i meant just in general. GM doesn't make very cool or nice cars. I think Ford is really leading the way. GM stuff is just too generic.
