I'm guessing she wants to get out in front of this before a Presidential bid is announced? Furthermore, she can easily play an angle here against the Republicans that'll have play as a general soundbite.

No, I don't think its stupidity at all.
Was it set up properly? Probably - I really doubt she and Bill decided to follow a how-to from Youtube and set it up themselves. That doesn't mean it was being actively monitored and checked for security issues, nor does it resolve the issue of her being able to delete anything she wanted to at a whim.
More than anything, I am interested to know why this was done. What was the reason?
Regardless, I don't think this is something that we should allow when it comes to our government employees. It just leaves way too much room for abuse.
