This letter is flat out treasonous.

What we have is a minority of the senate negotiating with a foreign government behind the presidents back, which is not acceptable under any circumstances, let alone a case like this where they are trying to undermine peace negotiations.

Imagine what the consequences would have been if the Democrats had done this to Reagan during the cold war ?

Here's where it gets beyond stooooooopid and just flat-out negligent and dangerous: um, considering that ISIS is a threat that's on everyone's minds right now, wouldn't you want to try and finally pair up with the one superpower in the region that doesn't back them and could be a key ally against them (and AQ)?

I'll bet these ass clowns have no idea that Iranians aren't in ISIS and aren't in AQ because they're Shiites and if you haven't noticed, Shiites aren't the ones going around the world cutting people's heads off, setting off bombs and massacring magazine staffs.

Bonus question: where are the Saudi troops on the ground, fighting ISIS? They've got billions in military funding/equipment, yet, where are they? But I digress...

No, these ball-sniffers are embracing the Full Cheney while giving Netanyahu a blowjob because he's the one who apparently can't rule without everybody considering Iran the world's Evil Empire.

But yeah, not only does it make us look like clowns to the world, as somebody already noted the hatred and disrespect for Obama at this point is so rabid that they're willing to destroy or obstruct anything simply to antagonize him, regardless for the consequences for the rest of us. This is nothing near governing--this is sabotaging the government until the Party is in power, whenever that happens.

I can't honestly find any logical reason they had to send that letter to Iran. Everything it states didn't need to be said to the leaders of Iran, they would of easily banded together to stop it after a deal was made in the senate.
