Looks like the 20,000 Shia militia taking back Tikrit are doing it with a mix of US and Iranian gear (T-72s fighting next to Abrams) and fighting under the flag of Hezbollah.

Iran's larger and has less distractions. It's not as dynamic as Israel but they're serious and should be treated seriously.
I'm heartened recently to see talk of coordinating with Iran. While our postures can't change too much in the short term and we need to be cautious, we have to at least attempt to normalize relations in the near future.

We used to be buddy/buddy with Iran when the Shah was around. As for the nuke's, that genie is out of the bottle. Why worry? Can't do anything about it anyway. I just hope the world don't go crazy bastard stupid when some half wit sets one off.
