In fact, I'll go out on a limb here and say that I disagree with McCarthyism. I know, I know, that's such a radical thing to say, but I'm not a fan of persecuting people based on their beliefs.

And what really sucks as an actual working system is one that takes ideas such as taking defaulting mortgages purposely made to unqualified borrowers and converting them into grade AAA investment vehicles as a clever economic policy.

That little beauty of an idea almost crashed the worlds economy. We still aren't out of the woods on that one

democracy is how the will of the people is expressed. without it there is no self determination. I would say radical opposition to US policy is more due to the imperialistic nature of our foreign dealings than a failing inherent to democratic action in "lesser cultures".
