it's difficult to even judge presidents from 50 years ago today let alone the current one. problems with the ranking of presidents is that darlings like kennedy end up getting propped up (and he was one of the worst presidents), and obama has got that same kind of thing going for him: speechwriters. but as we get farther and farther removed we can look at the presidents objectively in terms of problems caused, faced, overcome, and overcome by and get a better view of it but you can't do that so long as people are alive that remember these people being president

i think history will be kinder than you think on bush, and harsher than you think on obama
