^I disagree that the cause of looting is the issues. The cause of looting is opportunistic criminality. Greed. A thrill. Herd mentality. Whatever. Just dumbs being dumb.
The decades of police brutality, disenfranchisement, alienation, etc...are what lead to legitimate protest. Legitimate violence. Legitimate, considered, targeted action. Something that actually matters.
Looting, on the other hand, is just f**k stoopid.
