I should clarify my previous post, I am not against rioting. At all. I just lament how fragmented our attention spans are in this day and age when it comes to using anger to shift a paradigm.

I just had a go-around with the usual suspects on another site and basically the narrative was: get off your lazy asses, you crybaby f***s and get a job instead of rioting!

This whole incident to them is just that and only that: lazy black people acting like savages because you know, that's what they do. While WE pay for their food stamps and "income tax refunds" (yes, someone actually said that)!

Ain't it funny that when some deadbeat decides he's not going to pay for the federally-provided food for his cows you get hundreds of people armed to the teeth ready to start a bloodbath and this is a glorious example of "liberty" and protecting freedom.

But the moment a black guy throws a garbage can through the window of a CVS well then everyone loses their minds!

A common refrain from them was "These people have all the opportunities in the world yet choose not to work hard," and I would ask: where in the world did you get the idea that we're still the land of opportunity when 1% of the population controls more wealth than the bottom 90%? And the middle class is being decimated, leaving no next rung on the ladder for the poor to climb out of poverty?

So of course the silence would follow before the ad homs started up, yada, yada...

Absolutely no mention though, of you know: that that guy who had his spine snapped while in police custody. None.

What happened to the respect you're supposed to give to the badge especially knowing that bad actors wearing a badge may shoot you to death legally or illegally if you choose not to submit to their commands?

This was taught to me at an early age. Is it not taught to black kids today. Saz would never run because he was raised correctly. Mr. Brown? Nope. Mr. Grey? Nope.

People in Baltimore don't have a chance. The city unemployment rate is 8.2%, while the rest of the state is at 5.2%. Maryland has the 10th highest tax rate in the country, f**k they even wanted to tax rainfall, and yet that hasn't helped. Investments in the city's snazzy areas haven't trickled down to poor folks. Blue collar jobs have fled to right-to-work states, and overseas. Baltimore's schools are underperforming.

But hey, f**k burning down their own neighborhoods is going to change all that.
