I know I'm saying the very obvious and it's been mentioned many times before by readers of the books, but how the f**k can Martin come to some form of conclusion for all these threads he's spun? I used to think that some of these stories had some connection to the endgame, but now I think they have no connection anymore. Arya, for instance. How does her characters direction tie back to the endgame? Will she merely be used to right a Stark wrong, because she clearly doesn't tie to the situation at the Wall. I would really like to count on George to tie some of this shit up, but I'm worried it won't happen and will end like the Sopranos or Mad Men. Sort of an ending, but not really that satisfactory. He likes to kill characters, so maybe he'll enjoy killing his readers enjoyment as well.
