To Comrade's case it's very likely that culturally the Russians might not into war very well. I don't know too much but I really got that vibe from some of the Dan Carlin podcasts. He'd go on to say that there were some cases where the Russians would fight tooth and nail, down to the last bullet but then in other times a single person could capture many Russians.

But who knows how they would handle a war today. He'll who knows how Americans would handle a war right now.

Just leave them alone, they struggle not to commit genocide on THEMSELVES every other decade. Russians have a huge inmate advantage in any war in that they can and will tolerate extreme suffering for extended periods. You guys are f**k insane, the Russians and Chinese know full well that regardless of the magnitude of any nuclear conflict, millions of them will survive and that's good enough for them. They have much much less to lose than we do.
