That's a fallacy.
All he has done is proven that one era, that of the Mongol conquest, may have a higher death toll than the current era, if you judge it on a per capita basis.
That is not proof that this is the most peaceful era in human history, which is a ludicrous idea.

Also my figures, which are the only with sources here, are conservative. Taken from mainstream sources. I don't over inflate them in any way.
On the other hand you guys have done everything possible to avoid the reality of US imperialism and interventionism. In one instance giving a vastly inflated estimate of the imperialistic crimes of the British while simultaneously sanitizing the figures for the US.
All this thread has done for me was strongly reinforce the idea presented by Noam Chomsky in Manufacturing Consent.
