Trump is the Bernie Sanders of the GOP,... except that to make sure people are fired up on the right, you have to be a moron through a megaphone, as opposed to someone pretending like they have a chance to do real good through a megaphone like Bernie. He'll gather up all the progressives, and at the very last second, hand them over to Hillary saying "well you wouldn't vote for Jeb would you...", and they'll vote for Hillary.

Sanders is running an issues based campaign. Trump is running a persona based campaign. Sanders wants to get people talking about his issues. Trump wants to get people talking about Trump.

The result is what matters, not what they're doing. The Democratic Party loves it when people talk about issues with Bernie Sanders. Means the "aura" of concern about issues will translate to Hillary when he gives her his support next year.

And Hillary is about as concerned about issues as she is about f**k Bill.

But it's still different. Like you said, the Dems don't mind what Sanders is doing too much. The GOP has to be pretty aggravated by Trump right now.
