no doubt the civil rights movement was top to bottom but from chain-gangs to lynchings you can-not understate the important role criminal justice and law enforcement played. the very first moves in modern civil rights dealt with criminal justice....or the lack there of.

Both have made dubious claims that some how the #blacklivesmatter has made strives to address police brutality, and yet you discount concrete evidence about the ground gained against police brutality during the civil rights era.

the only way you're going to do away with police brutality is to completely revamp the police force, pay them more, and to where you aren't scrapping the bottom of the barrel socially. You have too many ignorant people with ignorant political and social views with guns and authority. that's pretty much the problem. that's not going to change with some presidential mandate or cameras on cars.
