Can we put this into perspective please?
Some activists were rude to a person who didn't deserve it, and about 10,000 people were inconvenienced. Of course this is exactly the kind of act that makes a body politic strong. Not all protestors have a good point. Sometimes they are annoying and sometimes they do stupid things. To condemn an entire movement based upon the actions of a contrived media spokesperson is absurd and anti-democratic, and pretty much exactly what is wrong with how we view protest these days.
I figured that people here wouldn't be so reactionary and would be able to put this into the proper historical perspective. Clearly I was wrong.
