Why they support the Iran nuclear deal

N Korea has the "bomb", and even they understand they can't really use it. Are we saying Iran has less on the ball then N Korea? Maybe we need to send in a secret team to blow all that shit up and make it look like an accident. Sooner or later, they will probably have one. Don't really matter to me one way or the other. Besides, Iran don't really need the "bomb" to screw with Israel. They just want one because a lot of other gangbanger nations have one.

They want one for the same reason that all the nations in that region want one: warhead envy.

If Iran were to get one they'd be a nuclear superpower and of course the other nations wouldn't stand for being relegated to the kids' table so this would set off a nuclear arms race in just the part of the country where you don't want there to be... a nuclear arms race.

Although I say this as we've had no problem with super-scary Pakistan having nukes for decades now.

It has nothing to do with them nuking us--they won't--or Israel, either which would be suicidal.

There's nobody in that region that could invade them and succeed.

As for us invading them? R u serious? We've hinted at bombing them... but not invading them. We don't have the resources to do any sort of invasion, which would be an utter disaster.

Their wanting the bomb is less for pragmatic ideas than it is simply they want the bomb. For the deterrent effect--maybe towards Israel, yeah.

The Iranians never wanted a nuke. Not now, not before, not ever.

No country wants to be invaded, including us. However, we probably invaded more countries then anyone in history. Could be the reason so much of the world despises us, and part of the reason the WTC is no longer standing.
