Israel or Muslims? Who do you support more?

It seems like Obama administration is trying to do everything possible to worsen relations with Israel. That country has always been our main ally in the Middle East.
Why do we support its enemies then? First Saudi Arabia, now Iran. Both these countries are muslim jihadist states which want to destroy Israel at all costs. Maybe we should choose our allies better?

And Iran? What in the hell are you talking about? This is the first diplomatic development between Iran and the US in over a decade...back when we shot ourselves in the foot by making the reformist government look weak.

Israel simply has a PM with an unrealistic foreign policy. He's their GWB.

There is no question what so ever, I support Israel over any and all muslin countries. It, Israel, is the only democratic country in the middle east.

Israel is a shitty ally.

That they did anything but dismiss an invitation to address Congress without the invitation of the Executive as puerile, inappropriate, and borderline illegal speaks to their utter lack of respect for the United States. Even the Iranians sneered and laughed off the letter sent by members of congress...because congressmen have no authority or proper role in the executive decisions that go with US foreign policy, and their un-American and unconstitutional behavior is disgusting to anyone, anywhere, with any sense of respect for correct governance and the rule of law.

Basically, in the eyes of Israel, we are a dog that can be easily wagged by a ridiculously ignorant/powerful Israel lobby.

I say f**k Israel, generally. However, everything goes on a case by case basis. Asserting support for either side by default on all issues is obviously idiotic.

I don't support either side. Both sides are full of liars and terrorists and I wish my country would wipe their hands of either one. I do get tired of Israel setting our foreign policy for us most of the time and I feel as though our "special relationship" is entirely 1 sided. We get nothing from supporting Israel and they get a lot. At the same time, I'm not a big fan of Muslim nations either. The U.S. would be wise to just stay out of the hornet's nest known as the Middle East.
