Actually I think they're sort of dual-purpose. Because what better way to get tough on crime than to arm yourself? Especially to protect your kids against disease-carrying, raping Mexicans, black thugs and of course Muslims that would be attacking that Pinkberry if one of us wasn't standing guard in front of it with an AR-14?

What did I say? I said the threat is wildly overstated. I didn't say there is "no need." Although that opens another interesting angle: so the best "self protection" is owning a gun, is it?
