The internet said he was going to sprout horns and start talking in demonic tongues while the UN took over the country through Jade Helm. Anything short of that is going to be a bit disappointing as that's a lot of hype and build-up.
Seriously though, I do wonder if Catholicism is set for another split. I'll be curious to see how many people rally behind a more fundamental viewpoint of the religion. Seems like people are mostly happy with a softening of their church.

Yup, exactly. How dare he talk about helping the poor, taking care of the sick... how these are moral imperatives. And how we, as a society, are not served when the only thing we care about is money (idolatry).
