Why do we have to wait ten or twenty years? I'm trying to highlight current complacency of our demographic against theirs. If we were truly as troubled as we suggest why then do we fail to act? And in that same token, why then do we wait until such a point in our lives that we might reneg on our original principles and fall prey to the same type of reasoning being utilized by the boomers now?

Good luck finding a politician willing to turn against a large demographic that's easily the most politically active.
