I don't think the problem with Afghanistan was due to some demands of the american people. We just wanted some dead terrorists, which was a sound decision. The whole rebuilding was some random bush nonsense no one asked for and no one wanted, like iraq. It was idiot bush who led us into debacle after debacle, we just wanted to blow some shit up and kill bin laden for 9/11, everything after that he was dragging the american people along for.

From the start Bush said we would establish a democratic government in Afghanistan and everyone was for it. Again, the PRESIDENT, is supposed to know better than the common citizen and he didn't, but let's not pretend the public wasn't about it too.
