I hope there is never a nationwide meltdown. My guess is probably an isolated urban meltdown like Ferguson or Baltimore, only more out of hand. But who really knows? But how we react is really unpredictable until the situation actually happens, and why it happened.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

Why don't the refugees in Europe form a militia, then go back and kick some isis ass? Oh wait, they are waiting for us to do it for them.
