The worst part about Ryan is that the media--and this is all media, not just conservative media--has adopted the mantra that Ryan is a "policy wonk" and a "numbers guy."

His numbers have never added up. It's just the same old gov't bad/Wall St. good stuff, where we will reach nirvana when we privatize everything and slay things like Medicare and of course Obamacare.

At this point all you have to do is create the myth and get it out there--because once you do it never dies.

What will be the most fun is when the crazies demand that he follow their wishes--starting with a gov't shutdown.

All the hype for Ryan's budget plan annoyed the hell out of me. I read his plan, not the articles about his plan, but the actual plan itself, and it had no specifics whatsoever. I could have written something equally valid in 10 mins on the back of a napkin, yet the media was acting like he was some sort of math genius.

Well remember when he was confronted with specifics back when he was a candidate? He couldn't provide any. Because there are none.

His "plan" is to starve gov't of revenues so that it can't provide social programs. Or maybe he'll jump on Ben Carson's "HSA" craziness.
