They don't have a missile of this type (like with the Urkraine incident) and that would have been detected by satellites anyway.
It was a bomb, and now this is scary because the threat is no longer contained in some sandbox countries in the region.

Well obviously we've seen them do stuff in other countries so it's not that surprising I guess.
