Dylan, I think I figured it out.
When you talk about freedom of religion, basically what you mean is that you support the right of people to say something like this: "I am a Christian." You also don't mind it when they congregate and talk about things. Of course the moment they put those beliefs into practice, with tangible results, you seem to want to throw freedom of religion right out of the window.
Don't like gays, believe it is sinful? Tough shit, bake that cake. Your rights must be subdued by the state.
Want to better audit yourself by being tortured for months or years? The state should step in and prevent such abuse.
Want to raise your child according to your own beliefs, literally one of the most basic elements of freedom of religion? Not if it's bad for them!
It's actually quite funny to see you pretend to be logical about this.
