i would agree but... after watching people find scenes where jar jar is clearly mouthing the words that are coming out of someone's mouth that is standing in front of them (he can't see their faces so he's not mimmicing), i start to wonder if maybe we all just hated on him before he was done telling his story and it ended up ruining everything that he wasn't able to tell it

my favorite thing about that is that george lucas saw everyone hate how f**k idiotic jar jar was, so instead of revealing it to be a ruse the whole time and making him a not annoying character as intended he decides to retcon his entire jar jar plot and keep him as a dumb f**k sideshow for two more movies.
