the fact is there is a common thread through all of this. we could ask syed farook, if he was still alive: he memorized the koran. he'd know way more about what it means to be a muslim than any muslim that hasn't done so: he memorized all the words of the perfect book that can only be interpreted exactly as the words say since the words came from god
