Anybody else intrigued by this?

I think my company and artists are like the last people on earth still using a stylus.

Mouse does not work well for what we do and finger would end up broken in multiple places after a day of work.

But hopefully in 10 years when we need new hardware, tablets will be able to run all day without needing to be recharged. We have to have detachable batteries still and that is getting increasing more rare as time goes on.

We might be able to work on iOS/Android in the future but I'd rather not. I'd rather use a full on computer but I guess its going to depend on devices and battery life more than anything else. Really hoping we get to the point where a device can run 10+ hours in a day with the screen actually being on all day without needing to charge. We get about 6 now with the screen brightness all the way down on Win10 with 2 batteries (Motion J3500)

What you get today will probably be obsolete in a week. I doubt that will ever change. Although the advances could become smaller.

Been screwing around with this thing for a day.

Hands down my favorite (around the house) tablet device by a mile. I love this thing. IDK if I would buy it at it's current price of $599 (bought mine for $499), if Samsung ever drops the price to $399 I'd buy a second one for the Mrs in a heartbeat.

IMO they found a perfect size. I was slightly concerned by the wonky stand, but again the two settings are near on perfect. For surfing the web, reading the e-newspaper on the dining room table or on your lap, the lower setting is great. Want to watch streaming video on the counter or the coffee table use the other setting. I haven't tried it in bed yet (I'd get chastised but I'll probably do it eventually) it looks like it would work well. It is not overly heavy so works well on your lap, it would be too heavy to hold and operate with your hands, but again sitting or stretched out on the couch and on your lap, fine.

The 1080p is more than adequate resolution for the device. If you want to do serious gaming, computing or want something to take on the road I'd get something else, but for the causal stuff which probably accounts for 95% of my dicking around on computers it's great.
