Whether they're on the terrorist watch list shouldn't prevent them from being a DHS employee.

My pops was on some list briefly that interfered with travel plans. He got off it but I had to write some nasty letters threatening to pull strings I only had a 50-50 chance of being able to pull. Anyway, long story short is:
Those lists suck so DHS sucks as a prima facie matter and
They can't even handle their own shitty lists.
It's incompetence squared. Useless.

The watch list includes everyone living north of Mexico, South of Canada, and between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Oh wait!! I forgot Alaska and Hawaii.
