You've gone completely off the handle. First you suggest it was my do-nothing attitude that led to this mess, then within a post, agree that the FSA won't be more humane, but that I'm wrong for wanting to support Assad because he's a war criminal.
For one, which is it? Do I support doing nothing, or do I support Assad? Pick a fallacy and stick with it.
As for war crimes, big f**k deal, Comrade. Almost every sitting President of the last two decades has killed more civilians than Assad could ever dream of. Every faction in the Civil War has and will commit atrocities in proportion to the power they hold. Time for you to grow up and realize that there are no good guys here... There is only the cold logic of minimizing casualties, and an American-backed FSA coup is one of the worst conceivable ways of doing that. "The rebuilding would have already started." lol what the f**k. The US dumped billions into Iraq, over a decade, and its military still can't perform. Further, why the f**k are you talking about Iran in 1979 when you want the American government to literally finance a revolution led by groups who are overwhelmingly Islamist?
Best option was to not get involved militarily. Second best was to back Assad. It is clear you just can't admit to being wrong.
