Had an up and down Christmas. Kids got all their good stuff (my son has already finished his Millineum Falcon Lego) , and we surprised them with a trip to Hawaii this week. Got to see Star Wars with my kid and Joy with my wife (movie catchup time). I then timed it perfectly to arrive in the Dallas area late Saturday afternoon when the tornado party was arriving. In fact, I think I brought the f**k storm with me because it was tracking me up the highway for the last hour of my trip (had to pull over three times due to imminent warnings popping up on my phone). That last stretch getting home was a bit stressful, especially since the kids were in the car. Had I been by myself, I'd have outrun that storm.

Yeah, I recently moved to downtown and was right in the path of one of them initially. Our power was going on and off continuously, I could see bright blue explosions going off nearby and was lucky it moved off just east, unfortunately others weren't so lucky. Still can't believe it was the day after christmas and we got F4 tornadoes. They were stronger than any tornado we had all year, or in many years for that matter.
