Really though, you're not making much sense. Are you suggesting that the cops should just allow people to steal property because its in a rural area? Or are you suggesting that cops shouldn't shoot at people who are aiming loaded rifles at them?

it's because non sympathizes with them in a fantasy sort of way. the same way leftists romanticize and sympathize with aspects of the USSR and engage in apologetics.

Also, for the love of God, can we please stop pretending that cops don't secure crime scenes in the city? It isn't like armed men are going to storm a building in downtown Chicago, and the cops are like "Just go about your business folks." No, every f**k street for blocks is closed off, buildings are evacuated, etc.
