This got me thinking. Put this into another situation.
I like to speed. It's illegal. There are even signs up every mile or so telling me that I'm breaking the law. Moreover, most people exceed the speed limit, even if only a little.
So, they've passed a law making something illegal to do. Yet, most people still do it anyway. If we were to view this in the gun-debate light, then the only logical conclusion is that we should repeal the speed limit. Right?
