Yeah, times are tough for this lil' fella. First, my plan to have SWAT raid the building never came to fruition. Then I made the mistake of wanting the cops to surround the refuge and place these men into custody for breaking the law when they left. Sheer ignorance, as it were. Letting armed suicide-by-cop dudes drive around freely for three weeks was a stroke of tactical genius - use the time to work a plan, like surrounding the refuge and placing the men into custody for breaking the law when they left.
But I didn't just stop there. I saw a cop being interviewed by a roadblock on CNN, with a factory in the background, and brought it up. To my dismay, Spider immediately identified the correct town this took place in, and not close to the scene of the shooting. But in my arrogance I would not accept this. I argued with him relentlessly, using every rhetorical trick in the book in a futile attempt to establish that the shooting did, in fact, take place on the outskirts of town, exposing tens of innocent bystanders to a barrage of bullets. Finally, however, even I could not continue with this reckless and shameful face-saving... and at that precise moment, right when I was at my most vulnerable, Kane decided to start posting. Armed with his outstanding wit, my argument was cut down, and it's corpse was kicked repeatedly by a furious mob of noteworthy intellectuals, benefactors, philanthropists, etc. etc... Large was it's suffering, but it is dwarfed by my shame.
