Okay, Comrade, what are the actual capabilities of the F-35 that are not available in any existing plane?

You seem convinced that this is an "amazing piece of technology." Why? I've addressed numerous points and, to be honest, utterly eviscerated all of the points made in your ELI5 link. I've shown that the plane is more costly. I've shown that declaring it "more safe" is nonsense. I've shown that a huge chunk of testing hasn't been done yet. I've shown that there are over 150 critical deficiencies that we know about so far. I've shown that it isn't faster, it isn't more agile and it doesn't have an exceptional payload. What specific features does it have that makes it an amazing piece of technology?

In 11 pages of debate, not one poster who has declared the F-35 an amazing piece of technology has given a single actual justification for why they believe that.
