You're of the mindset that winning is a QB stay and not a team stat. And after the Cowboys' last season I understand why. But Cam Newton at this point is miles ahead of Peyton Manning and look what happened.

while i thank you for this post, in truth i think the panthers relied too much on Cam and on trick plays, the whole season. too much to put on a boy like that. next year will be better, but he needs a better team around him too

Lol any NFL game could go differently if you replayed it. But that broncos D would not be an easy obstacle for anyone, even if Cameron had the Great Wall of Dallas protecting him. The point, which you seem to have severely veered off of, is that W-L and playoff appearances is a fun way for ESPN to compare QBs but really is far from the end all be all of defining a quarterbacks talent and accomplishment.
