Obama came into office with a 70% approval rating, which over the course of his two terms has dipped into the 40s but now sits in the low 50s.
If Clinton and Trump run against each other in the general, one of them will be elected president and take office with an approval rating in the 30s, if not lower. It's going to be horrible for the country.

The obsession with her is astounding. And I thought it was bad with Obama.
Speaking of which, shouldn't the GOP be scheduling another televised hearing about her emails? The RNC has filed a lawsuit, so that can't be far behind. And when that fails too, you know what the old fallback is: start sniffing Bill Clinton's undies again.
