this is why the constitution shouldn't be meddled with. this is why the framers made it so we were a republic, not a democracy. but year after year the populist rabble have eroded our republic. senators, directly elected! this is garbage.

the primary system must be disbanded entirely.

instead i suggest that each state legislature's party caucus chose delegates that number their states electoral count to go and chose someone in a convention to represent their party in the national election. further, ONLY parties that have secured seats in state legislatures would be allowed to stand on the national ballot for president. this is to stop populists and stop people from making hasty decisions. yes, the people, in the end, are making the decisions, but indirectly, as our brilliant founders envisioned. i mean, this direct democracy crap? that's how you make sure america won't be great again
