i didn't say it wasn't a problem, but i don't think it's going to be catastrophic. i'm sure it will lead to the demise of some species we didn't even know existed, but whatever, i don't think that really matters that much. i don't think it would lead to the end of life in the oceans, as life, uh, uh, finds a way. it should be addressed, however, somehow. and if that means lowering carbon emissions then okay. or we could sprinkle iron on the ocean sea which could help mitigate the problem. i don't care about the ocean's ability to take up more carbon -- again, atmospheric carbon at this low level is not important, other than it increases plant productivity which in turn increases food production so that our poor people can continue to be fat
