"Bullying" is a bit of a melodramatic way to put it, but the idea of a boycott is 100% to put pressure on the people/place/business you are boycotting.

And while The Boss obviously has always had a middle-class vibe, I wouldn't say his "audience" is Trump supporters. Their views on race and religion, i.e., the bigotry, would appall him.

Meanwhile, he refuses to play in North Carolina, where their conditions are exponentially better.
