More importantly, he was indeed a person, not some caricature of whomevers ideology. People seem insistent on denying the complexity of the situation - he was a gay man who was mad at his friends! An Islamist nutcase who wanted to lash out at his enemies! An angry soul! A wanton sociopath! It's like they can't comprehend that this guy had layers, like all people.
