Saw that horrible story about the kid being grabbed by an alligator at Disney World yesterday (I can't imagine what the parents are going through right now)....Orlando is really taking it in the shorts this week.

Having a ban on something (AWB ) that has already reached saturation is not only to late to have affect, but a sign of desperation.

It's considerably more difficult to execute attacks with large bombs on the scale McVeigh did. It's easy to use modern firearms. Hell, an autistic 90 pound teenager became a killing machine just by getting his grubby little hands on a semi-automatic rifle.
This idea that trying to prevent terrorists from obtaining firearms is misguided because then they'll just use bombs is really quite stupid.
